What is Receiptly?
Receiptly is a mobile receipt scanner and expense tracker by CodeXcess. You photograph a receipt or upload an image or PDF, and the app reads it automatically, then organises it into a searchable, filterable record of your spending.
How does Receiptly scan receipts?
Receiptly combines Google ML Kit OCR with Google Gemini AI. OCR reads the text on the receipt and the AI interprets it, extracting the merchant, date, amount, currency, category and payment method. Every field stays editable if you want to correct or refine it.
Is Receiptly free to use?
Yes. Receiptly has a free plan you can start on right away. Three paid plans — Plus, Pro and Premium — add more cloud storage and more AI scans per month, up to 100 GB of storage and 10,000 AI scans a month on Premium.
Is Receiptly available on iPhone?
Receiptly is available now on Google Play for Android. An iOS version is in development and is coming soon to the App Store.
Can I share receipts with my family or team?
Yes. Groups let you share one receipt space with a partner, family or team. Groups include roles, email invitations and per-receipt attribution, so you can see who added what.
Can I export my receipts?
Yes. You can export receipt details to Excel for accounting or tax purposes, and download a ZIP archive of your original receipt documents at any time.
Is my receipt data private and secure?
Your receipts are stored in a private Wasabi cloud bucket, encrypted in transit and at rest, and reachable only through time-limited links. We do not sell your data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can I delete my account and all my data?
Yes. You can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app under Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
